The Legal 500's results for 2022 have been announced and we're extremely proud to have ranked in 9 practice areas (Employment, Corporate & Commercial, Commercial Litigation, Commercial Property, Family, Personal Tax, Trusts and Probate, Contentious Probate, Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury) up one more than last year.

After 4 years of speculation, the government have now confirmed that fixed recoverable costs will be introduced for most civil cases worth up to £25,000 in the fast track. The fast track will be expanded to include ‘intermediate’ cases valued between £25,000 and £100,000 in damages, therefore extending fixed costs to ‘simpler’ valued up to £100,000.

As we continue to support National Road Victim Month, we have created a small guide of what to expect when initiating a claim after becoming a road victim.

​Throughout August it is National Road Victim Month and it is important to shed light on individuals injured/killed by accidents on the road. This awareness month is supported by the charity RoadPeace and they are campaigning to raise awareness by using the hashtag #CrashNotAccident.

August is recognised as being the month in which the most road fatalities occur, coinciding with school holidays and more people being on the roads.
