March 2020 is Ovarian Cancer Awareness month, and four charities, Target Ovarian Cancer, Ovacome.. ovarian cancer, The Eve Appeal and Ovarian cancer action have come together to raise awareness.

Time To Talk Day is an annual event which encourages people to talk to one another about their mental health. In doing so it seeks to help those people who are suffering with their mental health and lift any stigma that may be attached to it.

Dignity Action Day #DAD2020 takes place this Saturday on 1st February. It is an annual opportunity for health and social care workers to uphold individuals’ rights to dignity.

Throughout December our staff have been helping and supporting local, regional and national charities through our #Ramsdens12Days of charity at Christmas campaign.

The monthly networking event, held every third Wednesday morning of the month at The Media Centre in Huddersfield, played host to a fantastic Christmas charity collection at their November event. in aid of the Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust.

Road Safety Week is running from 18th November until 24th November, courtesy of the charity ‘Brake’. Every 20 minutes, someone is killed or seriously injured on a British Road. Road Safety Week looks to finding ways to avoid these preventable deaths, and this year the theme is “Step Up for Safe Streets”.

Today marks the first day of Road Safety Week, co-ordinated by Brake, the road safety charity. This year's initiative is to encourage everyone to "Step up for Safe Streets" by learning about and celebrating design-led solutions that will allow us to us roads safely and in a healthy way.

As Children in Need day approaches, it has been revealed that almost one in 50 unborn children are classified as ‘children in need’, a statistic which has trebled in the last eight years. Figures for the 2018-2019 period highlight that 7,360 children are considered as vulnerable prior to birth, which has increased from 2,630 in 2010-11.
