As part of the Law Society's Pro Bono Week, a team of solicitors from the Huddersfield and Dewsbury Law Society’s unique Twinning Programme are visiting Uganda.

We are supporting Movember this year through our Last Friday Club. We have 12 very willing recruits (or #mobros) that have committed to growing a moustache throughout November in aid of Movember, "changing the face of mens health (this year supporting prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health)".

The Huddersfield and Dewsbury Law Society’s unique Twinning Programme with Uganda demonstrates the power of pro bono work to unite and develop the legal community locally and internationally – a collaboration on many levels from individuals to firms.

This 68km charity cycle is open to all and can be booked via British Cycling. This year's charity beneficiaries includes Kirkwood Hospice and the Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust.

The Community Foundation for Calderdale (CFFC) celebrated their 25 year history with a glittering awards ceremony.

#teamHalifax and #teamElland joined forces and took part in Overgate Hospice's annual Midnight Walk on the 12th September and have raised a whopping £680.

Ramsdens are very proud to have won the Adrian Sudbury Award from the Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust in recognition of its long-standing support of the charity.
