Dementia has recently become a highly discussed topic and it is often portrayed in a negative light. However, a recent report has followed a woman who has been documenting her father’s day to day life living with dementia through social media.

Care home fees are arguably one of today’s hottest topics with many people concerned that their hard earned savings and property will have to be used to pay for their care thus meaning they will not be able to provide as they had thought for their loved ones when they die.

A case in the Supreme Court has led to a ruling which could mean better access to social care for disabled people and a clearer understanding of the care funding decision process.
