Sarah Ward is a Partner and is the head of our Family Law department.
As a member of the Law Society Family Panel, Sarah brings unparalleled expertise to high net worth cases.
Sarah has specialised in private family law work for over 20 years and predominately focuses on financial matters for private paying clients with a portfolio of up to £10 million of assets including business assets and complex pension arrangements. This includes both the division of assets on the breakdown of marriages but also advising on pre and post nuptial agreements, including a professional footballer, and several multi million pound business asset cases.
Sarah is also able to advise and act for unmarried couples who separate, successfully navigating the completely different legal process which applies in such cases, including through the civil court process, where needed.
As a qualified collaborative lawyer, Sarah encourages clients to use amicable ways of resolving disputes if possible, in order to remain amicable with their spouse, particularly where there are children.
