Ru'Maan is a second-year Trainee Solicitor currently sat within our Private Wealth & Succession department.

Ru’Maan has joined the team after graduating in July 2020 with a First Class Master’s Degree in Law from the University of Huddersfield. Ru’Maan is now undertaking his training contract with the firm with a view to qualifying in September 2024.

Prior to starting his Training Contract, Ru’Maan worked in the Conveyancing team as well as assisting the Dispute Resolution & the Employment Law department.

Outside work, Ru’Maan enjoys networking with the Law Society and the Chamber of Commerce as well mentoring students and caring for the elderly. In his spare time, Ru’Maan is also training to be pilot and hopes to get his Private Pilots Licence (PPL).

 

What are your career highlights so far?

"I have spoken on behalf of The Law Society of England and Wales at their Careers Q&A Events as part of their Aspiring Solicitors programme, in order to coach the future generations of legal professionals."

 

What is one legal myth that you’d love to dispel?

"That driving in flip flops is illegal."
