Leanne is a Solicitor in our Court of Protection Department. Leanne completed her training contract and qualified as a Solicitor in 2023.
Leanne joined the team as a Paralegal after graduating in July 2019 with a First Class Masters Degree in Law from Northumbria University. She later started her training in September 2021.
Her first seat of the training programme was within the Court of Protection department where she assisted with the running of Deputyships for our elderly, disabled and vulnerable clients, particularly in connection with the management of their financial affairs, whilst her second seat was within the Family department assisting with divorce/finance proceedings and non-molestation court hearings. Leanne spent her third seat dealing with a variety of property transactions and her fourth seat in our specialist intestacy team.
In her spare time, Leanne is an Events Officer on the committee for Leeds Junior Lawyers Division and is also a member of the Halifax Law Society. Leanne recently joined the Board of Trustees for Age UK Calderdale and Kirklees.
