Katie is a Solicitor and Associate in our Litigation department and is based in our Edgerton office Oakley House.
Katie deals with contentious private client work which includes contesting wills and claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975.
Katie’s other specialisms include residential and commercial property litigation.
From a residential perspective this includes possession claims, adverse possession claims, boundary disputes, disputes as to ownership and/or sale of a property and also rights of way issues.
From a commercial property perspective matters include lease renewal disputes and breaches of leases including forfeiture. Katie is a member of the Property Litigation Association.
Katie also deals with a variety of other disputes both for individuals and small and large businesses including contract disputes, debt recovery and professional negligence.
Katie attends at Huddersfield University’s Law Clinic to give specialist landlord and tenant pro-bono advice to members of the public on a regular basis.
