Katie joined Ramsdens Solicitors in 2021 and is a first-year Trainee Solicitor. She is currently completing her second seat within the Conveyancing & Family departments. Her first seat was with the Care team. Katie has also previously worked as a Legal Assistant in the Family and Private Client Teams in York. She graduated from the University of Reading in 2020 and completed her LPC and Master’s Degree at Leeds Beckett University in 2023.
She continues to work closely with the Independent Domestic Abuse Services (IDAS) visiting their Women’s Refuge on a monthly basis to hold a legal clinic and has completed a number of fundraisers for this charity. She also enjoys networking with other young professionals in York and Wakefield in order to build connections and to expand her professional network.
In her spare time, Katie is a keen netballer and hiker and currently leads the Ramsdens Ramblers. She has recently organised the Yorkshire 3-Peaks Challenge with Ramsdens raising £5,780.70 for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and has a number of upcoming hikes planned with the team.
