What are your career highlights so far?
"I cant say I have one highlight. The beauty of my job is that every case, every person and every family are very different. I have one particular case which involved financial abuse of a gentleman, I spent years, with the police, working on this case which ended up with the perpetrators being given custodial sentences. The gentleman who had been abused had no family, he became part of my extended family and I was the one at his bedside at 2am on the morning he passed away holding his hand. In other news, I guess my career highlight is the fact that Ramsdens has been my only ever career, I’ve not had to write a CV since I was 18."
What is one legal myth that you’d love to dispel?
"That if you die without making a Will the King will inherit your estate in any circumstance!"
What made you want to work in your sector?
"Funnily enough, I never planned to become a Solicitor. I wanted to join the Police. Having completed my degree, the Police were not recruiting so I undertook some work experience at a firm of Criminal Solicitors and from there, joined Ramsdens where I have remained ever since"
