Joanna is a Licensed Conveyancer within in our Conveyancing department.
Joanna joined Ramsdens in 1993 straight from leaving school. After completing a Legal Secretaries Course at Huddersfield Technical College, she started to work with us as a Junior Legal Secretary.
Having then spent over 20 years working within our Commercial and Conveyancing departments as a Legal Secretary for Senior Partners of the practice, Joanna decided to take the jump into practicing herself. She qualified as a Licensed Conveyancer following completing the CLC Course via Bradford University (qualified in 2014). Joanna then started Conveyancing in 2020 at our Holmfirth office where she has honed her skills ever since.

What made you want to work in your sector?
"I took an opportunity on leaving school to do a Legal Secretarial Course and ended up working at Ramsdens one day a week (on day release), The rest, as they say, is history! I’ve always enjoyed working with people, so I took the plunge and completed the Legal Secretaries Course as Law had always interested me I am now a Licenced Conveyancer within the firm and get to work with our lovely clients every day ."
