We are currently recruiting for a financial Court of Protection Fee Earner to work in the busy Court of Protection team based at our Halifax office. All levels of experience will be considered.
Working alongside Partners Natalie Lang and Veronica Mullins, who is a Court of Protection Panel Deputy, you will be handling a broad range of Court of Protection financial matters, providing legal advice to and acting on behalf of clients who have lost capacity to manage their own affairs. Duties will include; application advice, professional deputyship and ongoing deputyship administration.
The successful candidate must demonstrate a professional pro-active approach together with a desire to put the clients and quality of service first. You will be a team player who is able to work independently, capable of taking responsibility and using your initiative, a good communicator and in possession of excellent IT skills. The successful candidate will display a willingness to succeed, the ability to get the job done, and will always consider what is in the client’s best interests.
You will possess the confidence and maturity to be able to deal with both vulnerable and clients with complex needs. A positive 'can do' and flexible attitude towards your work is a must, you need to be able to respond to changing demand of the role.
Working knowledge of Court of Protection work is essential.
