Raul’s Career Highlights:

“Graduating from Northumbria University in 2020 with a First Class Masters in Law, incorporating the LPC. Along with contributing to a scheme that provided pro bono legal work for a year, this involved assisting individuals who otherwise lacked access to legal advice. This gave me practical experience in client interaction, legal research and drafting.”

What is one legal myth that you’d love to dispel?

“The misconception that once a care order is made, parents can never have their child returned. Care orders can be discharged where circumstances change, and it becomes safe for a child to return home.”

What made you want to work in law?

“Driven by a lifelong interest in analytical thinking and attention to detail, I pursued a career in law to combine intellectual challenge with meaningful impact. The opportunity to support individuals and families during critical stages of their lives, continues to be the most rewarding aspect of my work.”
