Rachel is a Solicitor and Partner in the Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Team.
She qualified in 2015 having trained with a Leeds firm following working for a firm specialising in catastrophic injuries. She has over 14 years’ experience dealing with complex, high value claims.
Rachel has a wealth of experience and acts for clients who have suffered a wide range of injuries as a result of an accident or clinical negligence.
Rachel’s particular specialist areas are claims involving catastrophic, life changing injuries including but not limited to amputation, brain and spinal injury claims suffered by both adults and children. She also has a particular interest in supporting clients who have suffered birthing injuries.
Rachel represents and supports families at Inquest and acts on claims involving fatal injuries.
Rachel is a volunteer on the Helpline for AvMA, (Action against Medical Accidents) a charity dedicated to patient safety and justice.
She has been a member of the Leeds and District Medico-Legal Society since 2018, she joined the committee in 2021 and has served as the Lectures and Events Secretary for the Society since 2022.
Rachel is accredited by the Law Society for Clinical Negligence. She has also been recommended in the Legal 500, 2023. Rachel is also recognised on the 2026 pro-bono list for the time that she gives to the charity AvMA.
Rachel is based in Leeds but is available to travel to suit the client’s needs.
