Natalie is a Solicitor, Partner and Head of our Court of Protection department.
Her clients are mostly those who need a Professional Deputy or Attorney to manage their finances.
Natalie qualified as a Solicitor is 2007 and has over 17 years’ experience in Court of Protection work. Natalie is also the firm’s Training Principal and mentors our Trainee Solicitors as well as being involved in their recruitment and supervision.
She is also a member of the Court of Protection Practitioners Association (‘CoPPA’) for Yorkshire & The Humber and is a recommended lawyer in the Legal 500 for 2026 – noted as ‘efficient and pragmatic’.

What are your career highlights so far?
“Acting for a vulnerable elderly client whose carer had exerted undue influenced to change her Will leaving all of her estate to her and disinheriting her relatives. A Statutory Will was authorised by the Court and a Rare Costs Order made against the carer.”
“Conducting a matter where the previous Deputy had been convicted of stealing more than £500,000 from family members.”
What is one legal myth that you’d love to dispel?
“That there is such a thing as a ‘Next of Kin’.”
What made you want to work in your sector?
“I initially wanted to practice in family law and side stepped to Private Client at the 11th hour. Whilst working in Wills and Probate, I fell in love with the small number of COP matters we had and expanded the department from there.”
