Lauren is a Solicitor in our Private Wealth and Succession Team.
Lauren joined the firm in 2020, after graduating from the University of Huddersfield with a first class honours degree in Law and a distinction in the Masters of Law and Practice. She joined Ramsdens as an Office Assistant and then moved on to become a Conveyancing Assistant before starting her training with the firm in 2022.
Lauren has now completed her Training Contract with the firm, qualifying in September 2024. During her training, she worked in Residential Conveyancing, Real Estate and Private Wealth and Succession departments.
Outside of work, Lauren is on the committee for the Kirklees and Calderdale Junior Lawyers Division, as Student Representative. She is also a voluntary ‘Community Friend’ for a local charity.
Areas that Lauren specialises in:
- Drafting single Wills, mirror Wills and Wills incorporating Life Interest Trusts;
- Lasting Powers of Attorney;
- Preparation and submission of Probate Registry Applications; and
- Estate Administration
What made you want to work in your sector?
“I have always enjoyed helping people and the satisfaction this brings and I have always insisted that I wanted to work in a profession that did just that. I am a massive people person and getting to know clients whilst building up a trusted relationship is one of the things I enjoy the most. When combining these two factors, it became apparent that Law was the way to go.”
Do you have any accolades or awards?
“I was proudly a part of the Residential Conveyancing Team when they won the National Conveyancing Firm of the Year in 2024.”
