Laura is a Solicitor and Partner in the Child Law team.
Laura qualified as a solicitor in 2008 and specialises in all areas of the Children Act which can include representing parents in relation to matters involving their children.
More recently Laura’s main focus and practice has been in relation to public law proceedings where the Local Authority are involved with a family, commonly referred to as care proceedings. Laura has experience of representing parents, grandparents and other family members within these kind of proceedings which also includes work such a special guardianship orders and adoption.
Laura is also a member of the Law Society Children’s Panel meaning she can represent children within court proceedings.
Laura was a recommended lawyer in the Legal 500 2023, noted as ‘tactically astute’.
