She has also been involved in supporting the Will Aid campaign each year and in fundraising, with her local motorcycle group, for multiple charities including those that support the provision of guide dogs and injured veterans.

What are your career highlights so far?
“Early in my career I had the opportunity of working on some complex and large cases where I received a commendation in Court from a Senior Judge after stepping in for a senior colleague and I also had the opportunity to work with Counsel on a case in the Court of Appeal. The highlight of my role now is using my knowledge and experience every day to assist families in negotiating the technicalities of putting their affairs in order and becoming someone they can lean on throughout the most difficult of times.”
What is one legal myth that you’d love to dispel?
“That formal Will readings take place where a lawyer sits with the entire family and they all eagerly listen to who has inherited and who has been disinherited.”
What made you want to work in your sector?
“I have wanted to be a lawyer since the age of 11. I never had any other career path in mind. I always liked the idea of helping people through knowledge.”

Some people I’ve encountered during this upheaval, have been absolutely marvellous, and in this you yourself have been amazing. From the first moment I put the phone down after speaking to you for the first time, to the point where we’d got everything sorted, there’s never been anything other than relief that somebody out there actually knew what they were doing and could deal with it. Your kindness, matter of factness and professionalism have radiated through this episode with the mark of a truly empathetic and focused individual. I’ve used Ramsdens many times in the past, and this time has further demonstrated why. Saying thank you doesn’t really convey the depth of gratitude most of us probably feel, but believe me when I say, I am very grateful.”

Private Wealth & Succession Client
I personally think the service we received was brilliant, no room for improvement. Kirsty was very approachable and friendly and that’s what we liked about the service. We felt like we could ask questions without feeling that they were rather silly.

Both information and advice given was excellent and I would not know how you could improve upon this excellence.”
