Amy is a second year Trainee Solicitor currently undertaking her final seat in the Corporate department. She is based at the firm’s Edgerton office.
Previously, Amy’s seats were within our Real Estate team at Edgerton, Conveyancing at Mirfield and Dispute Resolution at Edgerton.
Studying at the University of Liverpool, Amy graduated in 2021. She then went on to complete the LPC part-time for 2 years. After graduating from the University of Law in Leeds in 2023, Amy began working at Ramsdens Solicitors as a Paralegal in the Real Estate department in preparation for her first seat as a Trainee Solicitor.
One of Amy’s favourite parts of being a Trainee Solicitor, is the opportunity to network with other likeminded professionals. Outside of work, Amy enjoys long walks with her family, going to the gym and reading.
What is one legal myth that you’d love to dispel?
‘You don’t know what you don’t know’ – this is a myth when it comes to the law. Ignorance to the law is no defence.
What made you want to work in your role/law?
“I enjoy making client’s transactions as seamless as possible, alleviating the stresses which are inevitable in some legal transactions.”
