Alison joined the Court of Protection team nearly 6 years ago having come from a strong litigation background with years of experience.
Alison’s background with high value personal injury and clinical negligence settlements greatly assists with managing cases involving injury litigation, both during and post settlement, and she is uniquely placed with the relevant experience in both the claims process and managing the post settlement budget.
Alison is highly skilled in the more complex cases where applications and litigation are necessary as a result of her past in litigation. As a result, Alison specialises in litigated cases but is able to assist with all areas of Court of Protection Work. Alison has become very experienced with more complex issues, applications and practice in the Court of Protection since her change in practice area and, alongside the day to day issues, deals with and assists on the most complex cases.
