This week our Court of Protection team are supporting Alzheimer’s Society’s Dementia Action Week. The theme this year is diagnosis and the team have produced some helpful signs to look out for:
For the first time ever, the UK has seen a drop in dementia diagnoses so it is more important than ever to “act on dementia.” By being able to recognise symptoms, the Alzheimer’s Society hopes to empower people to take the next step and reach out for guidance and support.
If you or a loved one are concerned about the early signs of Dementia or a formal Dementia diagnosis and what this means for your finances and property, our Court of Protection specialists are here to help. We support hundreds of Dementia sufferers to manage their affairs when they no longer have the capacity to do so themselves. The team are on hand to assist in making lay or professional Deputyship applications. This gives you the freedom to appoint a friend or family member, or even us as a professional Deputy to manage daily affairs. For more information call our Court of Protection team to discuss your options on 01484 821 500 or email willsandprobate@ramsdens.co.uk.
