Ramsdens’
Court of Protection team held their annual CoP Conference supported by a panel
of experts on the 28 November 2019.
The
conference, was developed by experts sharing their knowledge on a variety of
topics relevant to those working with the elderly and vulnerable adults.
Natalie
Lang chaired the event and speakers included Sarah Daniel from Motionrehab,
Sophie Hurst and Sophie Allan from Kings Chambers and Natalie Marrison and
Veronica Mullins from Ramsdens Abuse and Private Client teams.
Natalie
Lang commented: “It was a pleasure to see lots of our colleagues from the
public sector attending our conference today. The delegates ranged from police
safeguarding officers through to advocates and social workers who all seem to
be engaged with the array of speakers. This is only our second annual
conference and we are already planning for next year.”
Natalie
Marrison, Head of Abuse said: “It was great to see and to speak in front
of so many delegates who are working with the elderly and vulnerable adults to
promote civil liberties and safeguarding.”
