Ramsdens Responsibility

Ramsdens have charity at the heart of their business and understand that their responsibility to the wider communities does not stop there.

At the heart of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) approach, we look to develop sustainable relationships with their local communities, clients, and staff. CSR is embedded within our culture and is key to driving their business forward.

Helping the firm support local charities, staff are able to take advantage of:

  • a paid volunteering day for charity every year;
  • staff vote for their local office charity to support; and
  • local champions for CSR.

The firm also supports the local community by working with local education partnerships to offer young people with work experience and by encouraging staff to go in to schools to assist with business skills and career days.

Examples of recent activities include:

  • Working with the NSPCC to provide 'Staying Safe Assemblies' to KS1 and KS2 students.
  • Assisting the Yorkshire Children's Centre (YCC) by helping to decorate and paint Jo Cox House.
  • Working with the Getaway Girls, Basis and Haircuts4Homeless to provide free haircuts for their service users.
  • Volunteering with Slaithwaite Meals on Wheels to provide a weekly service to the local elderly community.
  • Providing free wills to those in need during the 'Make a will fortnight'.
  • Participating in a number of walks, fun runs, half marathons and marathons for a variety of charities and causes.
