Laura Smith

Laura is an Associate in the Commercial Property team.

Laura maintains strong relationships with local surveyors, accountants and lenders, working on varied property transactions including developments, sales and purchases and landlord and tenant works. Laura also deals with high value acquisitions by private pension schemes and manages large property portfolios for high net worth clients.

Laura completed the acquisition of the Children's Hospital site in Huddersfield for The West Yorkshire Forget Me Not Trust in 2008 and continues to work on leasing charity shops in the local area.

Laura is a member of the Princes Trust and is a mentor for the Huddersfield University Partnership.

Laura was shortlisted in the Forward Ladies Women in Business, Young Business Women of the Year Award (2011) and the Law Society's Excellence Awards, Junior Lawyer of the Year (2011).
