As an established local law firm Ramsdens have always wanted to make sure that everyone in the Kirklees and Calderdale community has equal access to our expert law services.
To make sure that this is always the case our Family and Matrimonial Department have a contract with the Legal Services Commission enabling clients to have assistance with funding for their cases as opposed to them having to pay for their solicitor privately. This scheme, more commonly known as “Legal Aid,” is available on a full range of family matters including:
- Divorce
- Separation
- Children Issues
- Domestic Violence Injunctions
Legal Services Commission funding is available to people on low or limited incomes. A whole range of factors are taken into account in determining whether somebody is eligible for Legal Aid and our experienced solicitors can advise you as to whether you qualify at your first initial appointment.
As most legal issues can easily become a costly business Legal Aid at Ramsdens means that everyone can get the best possible service for the best possible price.
