Ramsdens have provided specialist family law advice for over 50 years. We are experienced Solicitors who provide our clients with clear uncomplicated advice explaining their legal options, in relation to all aspects of family law.
We recognise that family difficulties cause distress to the parties involved and although we protect our clients interest at all times, we adopt a conciliatory approach and listen with a sympathetic ear to our client's problems.
We can advise clients on all the options available on marriage breakdown and separation. If necessary we can deal with court proceedings for financial matters, for issues relating to your children, or to protect an individual from domestic violence.
Collaborative Law is an alternative way to resolve family breakdown. For couples who genuinely seek a fair solution and want to minimise the pain and aggravation at this time, it may well offer the best solution. This process involves you and your partner sitting down with your own solicitors to work things out. You still benefit from having your own independent legal advisor, but you set the agenda and pace, and most importantly the key decisions you make about your future are yours and not made by a third party in a courtroom. Both Helen Thewlis and Jane Auty are trained Collaborative Lawyers and would be pleased to provide you with more details.
