- Gareth Dando: Employment
Religious Discrimination
The Employment Tribunal has decided that in these modern times philosophical beliefs, such as an individuals belief about climate change, should be protected against acts of discrimination.
This decision would potentially allow for a wide range of views to be protected against acts of discrimination such as animal rights activism, pacifism, vegetarianism and veganism. The decision also gives scope for protection for a political belief.
