Ramsdens are proud to be event partners of the inaugural Calderdale Business Conference, which takes place at The Shay Stadium, 24/05/12 and is tasked with creating a platform for local businesses to forge closer, stronger trade links with each other.
The whole ethos of CBC is to offer a greater support mechanism to Calderdale business community by bringing together large numbers of local businesses and to encourage them to trade with each other more. The result of this is more local capital swimming about the local economy making it much stronger and hence, safeguarding and creating more jobs.
Danny Matharu, Event Director of CBC said: “Times are still tight for most and Calderdale Business Conference will enable hundreds of Calderdale businesses to meet, develop a relationship and ultimately trade with each other.
“Most SME’s actually prefer to work with other businesses on their ‘doorstep’. It’s ‘greener’, more cost effective and ensures that the whole relationship is more responsive; as there is less travelling time necessary should it be required. As I’ve already mentioned, the most important aspect is the working capital of Calderdale is retained in Calderdale.”
Sinéad Sopala, Marketing Manager at Ramsdens said: "Ramsdens has been involved with the year-on-year success of Kirklees Business Conference as an Exhibitor and Sponsor. When Danny announced that Calderdale Business Conference was launching, we knew that this would fit perfectly with our strategy across the locality. Calderdale is great place to do business and we wanted to be part of this event that will bring the business community together.”
Calderdale Business Conference offers Calderdale businesses a single location where advice and assistance are readily available across one day via the business specific seminars, an exhibition hall housing 40+ local suppliers unrivalled networking opportunities with hundreds of companies present on the day.
Nowhere else can provide such open access to vast numbers of receptive Calderdale decision-makers.
